Carpools
Christian Heritage Academy serves families from 40 different communities. We are easily reached from the major expressways in this area, I-294 or I-90. Most of our families drive or carpool to school. To aid families in arranging carpools, a listing of families by town is sent to all CHA families during the first weeks of August.Bus Program
Christian Heritage Academy is very grateful for the parent volunteers who have organized and sustained our School Bus Program. Currently, we offer two bus routes stopping in the following towns:
North Bus Route
Deerfield (Morning Departure 7:55 a.m.; Afternoon Arrival 3:20 p.m.)
Lake Forest (Morning Departure 7:40 a.m.; Afternoon Arrival 3:35 p.m.)
Libertyville (Morning Departure 7:20 a.m.; Afternoon Arrival 3:50 p.m.)
Students in kindergarten-eighth grade may use the bus program. Families drive to a specific location for bus pickup and drop-off. The bus does not pick up students at their home. CHA parents serve as Volunteer Bus Stop Coordinators.
Students may use the bus 3 rides per week, 5 rides per week or 10 rides per week. The cost of the bus program ranges from $650-$680 per year for the first student. Additional students are discounted.
